Operate Waldur
This guide is for the people who deploy and run a Waldur instance.
Deploy
Check the hardware requirements, then install with Docker Compose on a single server or Helm on Kubernetes. Before going live, work through the go-live checklist.
Configure
The configuration options list every setting; general configuration, email and notifications are where most deployments start. Optional features such as the AI assistant, Matrix chat and the web shell are configured here too.
Identity and access
Connect identity providers such as Keycloak, eduTEAMS, MyAccessID or LDAP. The summary lists the supported providers and their protocols.
Providers
Connect the systems that deliver resources: OpenStack, VMware vSphere, Azure, HPC clusters through the site agent, other Waldur instances through remote offerings, or anything else with custom scripts.
Run
Understand the architecture, set up backups and monitoring, and use the debugging guide and Waldur shell when something goes wrong. Billing and accounting explains how usage is tracked, priced and invoiced.
